How to turn Android Auto screen into an Android tablet with all apps

We are going to explain how to turn the Android Auto screen into an Android tablet with all the apps, and thus be able to do away with the limitations of this system for cars. The process of converting Android Auto into an Android tablet is a bit complex, and what you will end up doing is connecting your phone to use its apps from Android Auto, all from another application.

The idea is that you can turn your Android Auto system into a device where you can open any Android application, since Android Auto usually blocks many of them. I warn you that in order to do this you will need to download an external app store for Android, and that always poses a risk to the security of your device, especially if you then use it to download other unknown apps.

We are going to explain the procedure in two parts. First, you will have to download to your Android phone the external store and, from it, the app you need. And then, you will connect the phone to your Android Auto in order to configure it.

First, install Screen2Auto on your phone

The first thing you have to do is to enter this Telegram channel to download the AA Store on your mobile, which is the external app store that you will need to download the application for Android Auto. You will download the APK file from the store, and you will need to install that APK file.

Once you have installed the AA Store, you have to open its app to access the online store. In this store you will see several unofficial applications, and you will have to click on the Screen2Auto app to access the tab of this tool, which is the one we are going to need.

When you have entered the Screen2Auto app tab, simply click on the Install button to install it on your mobile. The first time you install an app with this app store, you will need to grant it permission to use the storage and install applications.

Now, you have to open the Screen2Auto application. The first time you do so, you will have to go through a configuration process, in which you will have to give it certain permissions that it asks for in order to work properly. There are also other optional permissions that you can give it. The application will also ask for Root permissions, but you will not need to give it this access.

And that’s it, at the end of the configuration process, the app will remind you not to use the program while driving, basically because you can get killed on the road or receive a very heavy fine. In any case, when you press I Agree, you will accept to finish using the app, and you will have everything ready on your mobile.

Now, connect your mobile to Android Auto

Now, you just have to connect your cell phone to Android Auto and open the Screen2Auto application. When you do, in Android Auto you will see a launcher itself, in which there is a desktop and a full application drawer with all the apps on your mobile.

Now, you just have to click on the application you want to open, and use it. The app will actually be running on your mobile, sending the image to the car via streaming. To work, the mobile will ask for permission so that the application can start capturing the screen and retransmit it.
