Nvidia Machine Learning Leads to Impressive 3D Graphics

New machine learning technology is constantly changing the future of graphic design. Nvidia is creating some impressive changes in this area. Their new technology is going to disrupt the graphic design field in fantastic ways, both online and offline.

With this new system, 2D photos could easily become 3D graphics. This will change the future of branding, as more organizations shift towards using 3D images to create better engagement with customers, while using a Community Engagement Platform. It can also be used in real-world displays, such as business presentations and tourist attractions all over the world.

The technology manufacturer Nvidia developed a software to capture images in 2D and then visualize them in 3D as part of a project presented at the annual congress Neural Information Processing Systems generating a great impact, in conjunction with the University of Toronto and the Finnish institution Aalto University.

Many experts all over the world are surprised by how quickly this new technology was developed. The Next Web has produced a number of authors that have talked about the robustness of the new technology.

The theme is perceived as an opportunity for computer simulation lovers with fields of action ranging from virtual reality differentiation maps to video games and immersive movies.

According to Nvidia’s official blog, thanks to automatic learning models, the software mimics the capabilities of the human eye to accurately understand the data in an image. The system is a rendering framework, called DIB-R, that is capable of imitating a human eye and producing 3D visualizations.

Simply put, what happens is that even though a person sees in two dimensions, the images captured by the retinas combine to perceive depth and generate a sense of three-dimensionality.

Nvidia 3D – Nvidia builds AI to transform 2D images into 3D models

The instagrammer with one and a half million followers that doesn’t exist

How do you create filters that change your gender or age you? This new technology is going to make it easier than ever.

One expert made an interesting analogy about this new technology. They said it is like using holograms instead of animals in a circus.

The goal is to build an architecture for high-fidelity image production with a unique new architecture built with encoder-decoder systems. This novel neural network system enables new transformations between feature map inputs or vector sets. It has led to the inception of predictive analytics algorithms that can predict image details including colors, shapes, lighting and textures. reads the blog post.

can take old photographs from their photo collection and turn them into a 3D scene and inspect them as if they were there

For Nvidia’s director of artificial intelligence, Sanja Fidler, taking 3D images means that “you can see that scene that you have taken a picture of from many different points of view. You can get into it, see it from different angles: you can take old photographs from your photo collection and turn them into a 3D scene and inspect them as if they were there, basically”.

The possibilities are not exhausted. One option could be to capture extinct animals and revive their appearance in a 3D figure, dinosaurs or black rhinos, which were extinct in the last decade, could be visualized in virtual reality.

This is going to change the future of graphic design in countless ways. However, the same algorithms could be repurposed for other uses as well. Companies all over the world are going to reassess the way image design is conducted and there will clearly be a shift towards 3D visuals and virtualization. The question is how this technology will change the world. Apparently, only time will tell.
