Consumers should Consider 4G LTE

Long Term Evolution, or for short is LTE, this a big breakthrough. This is a part of 4G or the fourth generation of the mobile technology.

Let’s review the previous mobile technology:

  • 1G – this is used for analog phones.
  • 2G – this is used for digital phones.
  • 3G – this is used for smartphones.

Around the world, the carriers have upgraded or some are in the process of upgrading, when it comes to the networks of the new technology. Many are on the second part of the third part series on LTE.

The information that consumers need to know about LTE. When you say LTE networks, these are the mobile internet connectivity which is what broadband are computing or dial-up. Before  the Internet broadband is very different and most users can have difficulty in connecting and loading pages. Today, with the LTE is here, streaming video and music, download, upload and anything important to do online using mobile tablets and phones is ever faster, even you are at home with a broadband connection. The standard of 4G LTE is not only centered on the improvement of the user’s download speed, thus it is also designed to get better on speed uploads. It can support the theoretical peak of the upload limit of 50 Mbps, this is faster than what users can get from 3G. While some of the mobile broadband defines their guarantee a very small speed of 256 Kbps.

For the LTE, 100 Mbps is its peak speed for download (that is the theoretical limit of speed), while in reality, the consumers can be on lesser bandwidth. At the LTE still anticipates to deliver their giant leap forward.

Because LTE has faster performance for the download and upload speed, this result to give developers of application more options for developing better experiences to users on their mobile banking, gaming socializing, watching videos, shopping and more on the Web and apps.

So, when you will use mobile banking in the future, it will be no surprise that you’ll have a live video chat with an advisor for a loan or doctors can use tele-presence on their mobile (for consultation to every patient).

It is also possible you may see several packages of services for mobile operators, due to processing will only take minutes.

The consumer internet had roughly taken off sometime ago, when all start to replace the dial-up modems with always-on broadband. This is the reason we are moving very slow, however, with the 4G LTE is here, networks will expand and the compatible devices enhance. This is where the mobile consumers will increase and become real.

Another advantage of 4G LTE, it can allow users to access internet through their mobiles rather than the fixed lines.

You can see more of the new technology where LTE is reason behind it. Although, there will always be room for improvement, the goal is always the same, to meet and surpass the expectation of the consumers.
