In beginner lessons, a book like menu walks the end user through the lessons with accompanying audio to support what is learned. The user repeats the word after it is recited by the software. Flash cards are also used to support each chapter.

As the user advances through the program, harder lessons are presented, in which conversations take place and you are to respond with the correct answer. The answer can be previewed for pronunciation.

Even reading is presented as part of the training. A video accompanies a paragraph of text, that is read by an actor (and software). A grammar lesson is displayed, which will help teach any of the words in the sentences.  The byki button activates the link to the dictionary, which shows the proper pronunciation and explanation. If you need to slow the voice down, the turtle on the right of the play menu will take care of that for you.

If this isn’t enough fun (or torture, depending on the viewer), the Activities tab contains games to reinforce the material.
