Maximise the Use of Group Chats to Brainstorm Advertisement Plans

With the advent of modern communication tools, you can now stay in contact with the people you work with even when you are not at the office or during the weekends. The use of group chats, for instance, is useful in sending messages to everyone in your team at once.

You are saving time and energy in the process. You do not need to keep repeating the same information to various inboxes. You can also provide quick updates whenever necessary. Even when you have last-minute announcements, you can use the feature to relay a message.

Another way to maximise this technology is by using it for brainstorming. If you need to have an excellent marketing plan, you can use the ideas from the entire group.

Provide everyone with the chance to speak

By introducing ideas in a group chat, you can make people speak up, even those who do not usually talk during meetings. Some of them might have excellent ideas, but they prefer expressing their feelings through writing instead of talking. You also do not put pressure on those who have nothing to share since responding is optional. For instance, if you are discussing designs for pull up banners, you can share ideas through the group chat. Allow people to talk about rollup banners freely without saying no even to ridiculous ideas at an early stage of the discussion.

Recognise the value of every member

Through group chats, you allow everyone to feel like they belong. You make the meeting less exclusive. They will not feel like you are favouring certain employees. Everyone has an equal chance to respond in the group discussion if they want to.

You do not need to call meetings all the time

You might feel the need to call meetings all the time. You think that it is an excellent way to know what people think. You also present new ideas during these meetings. The problem is that most employees hate attending meetings. They do not feel like they are contributing anything in the discussion. They even need to stop working so they can participate in the meeting. When you use group chats or even video conferencing, you can include everyone involved in the discussion without the need for face-to-face interaction. Employees are also in an environment where they feel comfortable working instead of being inside a meeting room which feels quite toxic for them.

Recorded exchanges of ideas

In a meeting, you need to assign someone to record the discussion through writing. You will then receive a summary of the conversation. Although it helps, it does not cover everything. There is a chance that the person recording the discussion misses something out. With group chats, everything is on the record. It is easy to scroll back for reference. You may disable the delete features too so that you do not miss any information.

Everyone in your team will have something excellent to say regarding your next marketing plans if you give them the chance to speak their minds. Start a group chat now and speed up the finalisation of the advertising plans. If this tactic does not work, you might have to conduct reinforcement via personal messages and reminders. Highlight the idea of working as a team and the need to discuss issues together to come up with a practical solution.
