A better strategy is to market to people living in areas where there is a high percentage of people with Internet access. You are able to reach a lot of customers with a lower cost of penetration. We mined data from the Census Bureau on the 1,000 largest cities and saw which have the best Internet access. We shared them below:

  1. Sammamish, Washington: Sammamish is a city located near Seattle. Our data from the Census Bureau shows that 99.30% of homes have internet access. It is a very popular city for people working in tech careers, so it can be a great place to reach people working in remote jobs.
  2. Johns Creek, Georgia: Johns Creek is a suburb of Atlanta that has 97.80% of homes with internet access. It is a very rich community with lots of great tech jobs. It is also a great place for ecommerce businesses to reach, since such a large portion of the population has Internet access.
  3. Eastvale, California: Eastvale is a quaint city that is part of the Inland Empire in Southern California. It has the exact same percentage of homes with Internet access as Johns Creek, which is 97.80% as we stated above. Eastvale is a fast growing city that is spending a lot of money to make sure that more and more people have Internet access, so it is another great place for ecommerce businesses trying to reach more people.
  4. Dublin, California: Dublin is a moderate sized city in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our data from the Census Bureau shows that 97.50% of people have Internet access. It is also close to Silicon Valley, which means that it is home to a large populatoin that is very tech-savvy.
  5. Maple Grove, Minnesota: Maple Grove is a popular suburb that is near Minneapolis where 97.50% of households have internet access. Maple Grove is a vibrant, family-friendly community, which many Internet-based businesses may want to try reaching.
  6. Allen, Texas: Allen is a city near Dallas-Fort Worth, where around 97.30% of people have internet access. Allen has a very strong economy and is known for investing in cutting-edge technology. Therefore, residents near Allen can easily access the Internet and are great consumers for online businesses.
  7. Chino Hills, California: Chino Hills is another suburb that is located in the Inland Empire region of Southern California. Around 97.20% of homeowners have internet access. It is a growing community, that invests a a lot of resources in technology and makes sure as many people as possible can have Internet access, which means that more people are working remotely in this area. Therefore, it is another great place for online businesses trying to reach more people.
  8. The Colony, Texas: The Colony is a community with a strange name, but is one of the cities leading the country with technology. It is a suburb of Dallas and has 97.20% of homes with internet access, which is the same as Chino Hills. This community makes digital technology a top priority.
  9. Frisco, Texas: Frisco is another city that is located near Dallas-Fort Worth which deserves a spot on this list. It has 97.10% of homes with internet access because it invests heavily in digital technology.
  10. San Ramon, California: San Ramon is a nice city in the East Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area, where 97.10% of people have Internet access. It is located near San Francisco and many people there rely on online shopping.
