What Video Game Has the Best Graphics?

A regular gamer should never forget that video games are not only about gameplay. Even the most interesting mechanics will not save the game if, instead of a cool picture, only a couple of polygons and pixels are displayed on the screen. Today we have prepared a selection of the most beautiful and realistic games. Check it out!

1)   Red Dead Redemption 2

After its release on the console, the game from Rockstar Games has become almost the standard of work on the graphic component for developers. After dozens of patches, the Red Dead Redemption prequel looks just as wonderful on the PC as on the console. The work with the details is also striking – the traces of your stay (footsteps in the snow, shots, blood) leave their mark on the pure universe and increase the effect of presence. According to many reviewers including the GameTop, this is the best video game by graphics.

2)   Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla

The games of the series have always had a good atmosphere, and in the last part, the developers from Ubisoft did their best again. In the prolog, you will get to know the snowy homeland of the Vikings, and a high-quality picture can completely immerse you in this cold and sometimes cruel world. Then England takes over and takes up the bulk of the game. There is also a nice addition in the form of Asgard – the city of the gods. Although the storyline is very short there, there are impressive views to see.

3)   The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Another top open-world game that is a pleasure to play. Even without additional modifications, The Witcher looks great, although it was released six years ago! This is because CD Projekt continues to improve its graphics today. At the same time, the locations are quite diverse: there are medieval villages from Eastern Europe and large cities of that time like Novigrad. The world of Witcher 3 is extremely unpredictable: a bright field at any time can replace a gloomy forest or a dangerous dark cave.

4)   God of War

The series of games about the god of war from Scandinavian mythology received a cool continuation in 2018. Wonderful fantasy world looks like it should look. The reality surrounding Kratos is incredibly beautiful, the locations are worked out to the smallest detail, and it all turns into one big fairy tale for the player.

5)   Forza Horizon 4

Usually in racing simulators graphics isn’t important. And this is normal: who will discover the world around them while rushing forward at a speed of 300 km/h? But the developers were able to prove that races can and should be beautiful. It’s nice to just ride around the Forza universe, watching the perfectly worked-out change of seasons and day/night.

Enjoying beautiful landscapes and elaborate details are always nice, especially if your computer allows you to play at maximum graphics settings. What game was able to impress you with the picture? Tell us in the comments.
