Transferring Image Files from Your Cell Phone Without Cables or Email

You don’t have a cable available to transfer the photos from your cell phone to your computer? You don’t feel comfortable sending them through your Gmail account?

Don’t worry, you can move the images and files from one device to another without the need to use any cable.

If you want to make a backup of your cell phone before restoring it from the factory, it is essential that this copy is saved on your computer to avoid any loss.

In general, the easiest way to transfer information is to use a cable from the smartphone to the PC, but its use is not essential. Discover the different methods of transferring photos from your cell phone to your computer without the use of cables.

Access the cloud
More and more people are betting on uploading their cell phone files to the cloud. Through platforms such as Dropbox, iCloud or Google Drive you can send large files instantly without the need to send multiple emails.

All these options offer free versions, so you won’t need to pay for the full versions to send files.

Through WhatsApp
To receive WhatsApp documents on your own computer, simply access the web version of WhatsApp and download each of the images, songs, or documents you want.

If you need to send images from your own cell phone, what you can do to not disturb the rest of your contacts is to save your own phone number as a contact and send the files to yourself.

By means of an email
This method is ideal when you have little or no content to send. If you want to pass on a couple of photos, songs or documents, email is a quick and easy process for transferring information.

However, when you have a large number of files to send, this method is not recommended as it may require several emails to be sent.

Wireless transfer applications
AirDroid for Android, AirMore for iOS and Easy Tranfer for Windows Phone. These applications will help you send your cell phone files to your computer over the wifi network.

After downloading one of these three applications you will have to open your computer’s browser and scan a QR code or enter one of the URLs provided by the application itself. Once you have done this you will only have to follow the steps indicated by each tool in order to transfer the data.
