Scope
This tutorial will take you through the steps involved in installing both front-loading 5.25in and 3.5in drives - specifically a CD-ReWriter and floppy disk drive - covering each of the following:
- configuring the drives
- mounting the drives
- making the connections
- configuring BIOS
- installing associated software.
The tutorial also covers the installation of associated software and performance optimisation of the CD-ReWriter and alternatives to the ageing floppy disk drive technology.
