Anyone else havening problems doing this with Vista? Even CTR-C etc. does not work. Just trying to copy some text from a webpage to a text file on my desktop, yet if I go downstairs to the same page win XP has no problems doing this. Any fix's for this?

Hi Montroze. I've never encountered this myself, but I don't think you're the first to suffer it. Were you browsing with IE, by any chance? If so, try using an alternate browser - eg Firefox, Safari, Opera.

However, post back if that's not the issue, and we'll take it from there...

I only use Firefox on all my PC's.

Assuming that the web page in question wasn't protected in some way (which is unlikely since you had no problem on your XP machine), did you try all methods to get a copy? You mention using CTRL-C, but did you

• try the alternate CTRL button,
• right-click->Copy, or
• the Edit->Copy menu methods?

Also, does the clipboard work in other apps - eg. Word or Notepad?
